Road Transport Licensing in Poland

Poland's transport authority (GITD) is one of the busiest in the EU — Poland has one of the largest road haulage fleets in Europe. Register your company, meet the EU financial-standing threshold, and get your CPC through ZMPD.

  2. Get your CPC

Pass the exam administered by ZMPD (Association of International Road Transport Carriers in Poland).

  3. Prove good repute

A criminal background check for the company, owner, and transport manager.

  4. Submit your application to GITD

Complete the application form and submit it with your CPC, financial-standing proof, and good-repute documents.

Company formation is not a transport licence

Registering a Sp. z o.o. (Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością) in Poland does not, by itself, give you the right to operate commercial road transport. The Community License, the transport manager's CPC, and financial standing are separate requirements on top of company formation - all four are needed together.
